Wilton, Conn.--Actor and certified pilot John Travolta will be featured in watch brand Breitling's latest aviation-focused advertising campaign, marking his sixth year with the brand.
American photographer Patricia von Ah, who has photographed past Breitling campaigns with Travolta, captured the actor's portrait once again, snapping a shot in which he appears leaning against the cabin of a legendary plane during the famous Reno Air Races in Nevada, a world-renowned aeronautical event for which Breitling is the main sponsor.
The brand, whose logo is a winged "B", seems to have found a good match in Travolta, who boasts more than 5,000 flight hours and is certified in eight different types of aircraft.
The ad, which bears the caption "Profession: Pilot, Career: Actor," features Travolta, 55, wearing the Breitling Navitimer chronograph, known for its circular slide rule, which serves to perform all calculations involved in airborne navigation.
