The Breitling Jet Team is one amazing rush to watch. They are the first civilian aerobatics team performing on jets! The Breitling Jet Team is piloted by top-notch professionals and each pilot has one of the best aircrafts in the world. Each time they perform be prepared for jawdropping displays in which they sometimes fly within less than 3 meters of each other at over 650 km/h.
The best part of being a Breitling Jet Team pilot is the plane. Each is made of six L-39C albatros aircraft, Czech-made twin-seater military training jets…which could also be used as passenger flights. Wouldn’t be cool to go up in the air with the pilot during one of the Breitling Jet Team shows?
Each of the pilots on the Breitling Jet Team have been through a rigorous training to ensure safety and precision. The pilots are all professionals from the French air force and the team itself has its own mechanics and with good reason. About a dozen people work full time to enable the Breitling Jet Team to perform.
As far as the rigorous training,the pilots of the Breitling Jet Team must train at a pace of two to three flights per day, four days a week for about 30 minutes.
